when i want to run VLC Player... It's not running and I'm getting the following massage... I'm not able to understand this Msg. please rectify my problem...

The system DLL User32.dll was relocated in memory. The application will not run properly. the relocation occurred because the dll C:\\windows\system32\SHELL32.DLL occupied an address range reserved for Windows system DLLs. The vendor supplying the DLL should be contacted for a new DLL

1) Are you using any xp transformation packs like CRYSTAL XP,or STYLE XP or something like BricoPack Vista Inspirat.
If true, that's very likely to be the cause for the error message
you've seen. Uninstall those Packs/Themes and Windows XP is up and
running again.

2) There is a windows security update that is causing this problem longtime. search for KB925902 to be exact.
Go to control panel>>Add or Remove Programs, checkmark the little box at the top next to "show updates", scroll down to the bottom, look for these numbers next to a seurity update, click remove, restart your pc.

3) even if the problem persists,
at last try this....
