^ above query a bit confusing ..! are you trying to find out validity of a certificate
OR originality (whether fake) of a certificate ... .. validity (in general) refers to
recognition. is the University recognized ; do companies consider its certificates?
... this type of queries need to be analyzed by understanding different aspects
(eg. UGC recognition is compulsory; courses , facilities, region , collaborations ...)

now lets consider about fake certificates. now a days You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. are used on
original certificates along with earlier You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. method.. A special marking
method is also used in which additional matter becomes visible on photocopies.

Thank you for responding mn garu . The actual intention of my query is how to know whether a certificate given by a university is original or not . As you said originality only deals with the recognition of the university ? If there is no hologram can we consider it as a fake one ? If the university is recognized by aicte or ugc does it mean that the certificate given by the university can be considered as a original one ? Please clarify these .

A University / Institution must be recognized by UGC / AICTE

You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. is mainly for technical institutions & technical courses
whereas You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. is for general educational universities / institutions.

validity comes into practice through recognition.

Using of Holograms is a recent improvement in India. All the Universities
might not be using this technology. moreover, fake certificates makers
are being caught by police with duplicate hologram stickers ... so it is
much difficult for a ordinary person to distinguish between real & fake.

Technological experts exist to deal with real & fake when it is necessary (You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view.)

in our day to day life situations, none believes a certificate alone.. common
sense also plays an important role!! for eg. when we deal with the currency,
one may not take much care while exchanging 100 rupee notes ; BUT takes
utmost care when dealing with 500 rupee notes ; the reason is that there
are many reports of fake 500 rupee notes in our country...

And when we apply for higher education / job vacancies , we are asked for
references. i.e. we need to refer some people who know about our abilities ..
either their signatures are taken in application forms with their official seal
or a confidential report is required from the referees !!

moreover official transcripts are also asked sometimes which are to be issued
by the highest authority of university / institution (eg. Registrar of University)
